In 2015-16, the IERCD began the process of annual designation of general funding to be used toward design and facilitation of mission-focused but otherwise underfunded or unfunded projects within District boundaries.  Collectively referred to as “Special Projects Funds,” the process of designation and use of these monies was memorialized in IERCD Policy #6570 which was approved in 2015.  This policy provided guidance for District board members in review and selection of project proposals for these funds, to ensure prioritization of efforts with maximum partners, benefits, projected efficiency, and consistency with IERCD mission and strategic goals.  To read more about the Guidelines to our Special Projects Funds program, please follow the link below:
